David J. Beyer Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of David J. Beyer of Alexandria, Minnesota is shared. David, born on February 5, 1942, passed away on September 15, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David J. Beyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin A. Beyer and Dorothy Beyer (Buss); his brother Richard Beyer (Delores); and his brothers-in-law, Leland Arnold and Don Leuthardt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Beyer (Hoffman); his daughter Brenda Kay Lein (Brian) of Prior Lake; his grandsons, Andrew David Lein (Marisa) of Lauderdale, Zachary Allen Lein (Susan) of Prior Lake, Samuel Carl Lein of Prior Lake and Lucas Robert Lein of Prior Lake; his great grandchildren, Rachael Alma Lein of Prior Lake, John Carl Lein of Prior Lake, Peter Herman Lein of Prior Lake and James Frank Lein of Prior Lake; and his sister Sheila Leuthardt of Morris. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shalom Lutheran Church (681 Voyager Dr, Alexandria, MN 56308). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Evergreen Cemetery (3443 Evergreen Ln SW, Alexandria, MN 56308).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Shalom Lutheran Church Building Fund or Love, Inc.
