He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Goracke and Cecelia Goracke (Schuster); his wife Shirley; and his brother Earl Goracke. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Goracke (Julie) of Rochester, Brian Goracke (Vanessa), Beth Vossen (Chuck) of Maple Grove, Brenda McDonald (Ken) of Alexandria and Brent Goracke (Tanya) of Jordan; his siblings, Cliff Goracke (Kathy) of Spicer and Marilyn Berg (Herb) of Cyrus; and his sister-in-law Marie Goracke. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Pedersen Funeral & Cremation Service (101 S Atlantic Ave, Morris, MN 56267). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Calendar Assumption Catholic Church (207 E 3rd St, Morris, MN 56267).
