With heavy hearts, we announce the death of DuWayne Maynard Nelson (Alexandria, Minnesota), who passed away on April 9, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Nelson and Betsy "Caroline" Nelson (Gustafson); his wives, Shirley Sembrick and Barb Clarke; and his siblings, Roger Nelson and Ardelle Muzik.
He is survived by: his children, Carol McDonald (Jay), Carmen Ouverson (Jeff), Curt Nelson (Wendy) and Camilla (Jeff). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Douglas County Hospice or Knute Nelson Foundation.
