The passing of Edwin Delos Wetherill of Alexandria, Minnesota, born in Chilhowee, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 30, 2025 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Jo Wetherill (Hanks); his daughter Nancy Jo Weinvergr; his parents, Fred Wetherill and Doris Wetherill (Espenett); and his brother Warren Wetherill (Joyce).

He is survived by: his daughters, Dayna Schaefer of Roseville and Lesley Schmid (Michael) of Alexandria; his son-in-law Michael Weinberger of Eden Prairie; and his close friend Marlene Lorsung of Alexandria. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
