He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Covel and Agnes Covel (Fraisl). He is survived by: his wife Bee Geris; his sons, Jerry Jr. (Melissa) and Mike; and his sister Margaret Kremers (Ralph). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Jerry died on Saturday, May 16, 2026, with his family by his side after fighting a courageous battle with dementia and Parkinson's since 2019.
