Gretchen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gretchen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gretchen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hegg and Bernice Hegg (Matteson); and her siblings, Greg Hegg and Gwen Daniels. She is survived by: her husband Allen Boesen; her children, Michael Boesen (Anita) and Anita Erickson (Chad); her grandchildren, Blake and Brynn; and her sister-in-law Shirley Klimek (Richard). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lind Family Funeral Home (1623 10th Ave E, Alexandria, MN 56308). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (420 Irving St, Alexandria, MN 56308).
