He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Calvin Sr. Abers and Marguerite Abers (Pederson) of Osakis; his wife Joan; his daughter Jackie Amundson (Abers); his granddaughter Cagney Reve'Reis; his daughters, Tammy Reis (Paul) and Gwinette Cowan; his grandchildren, Wesley Reis (Lindsay), Cole Reis (Kyla), Alexia Menth (Mike), Taylor Amundson, Grant Cowan and Taya Cowan; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Caleb, Ryder and Violet; his siblings, Tonoa Herrebrugh-Abers (Robert), Calvin Abers Jr. (Joyce) and Charles "Chuck" Abers (Janie); and his sister-in-law Carol Jaros. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
