It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Henry Johnson of Alexandria, Minnesota, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnson and Leona Johnson (Bornholdt); and his brothers, Jack and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sievers; his children, Rhett Johnson of Windom and Christa Cox (Truman) of Rochester; his grandsons, Tyler, Drew and Kaleb McCann; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Johnson, Cathleen Young and Rex Sievers (Merlene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials are preferred to Shalom Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
