We are sad to announce that on April 8, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joan A. Eidsvold (Alexandria, Minnesota), born in Cavalier, North Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Jacob Dietrich and Isabel Dietrich (Mozinski); and her siblings, Donald and Cindy Hartje. She is survived by : her husband Thomas Eidsvold; her son Brian Eidsvold (Drea); her grandson Jackson; and her siblings, Margaret Smith, Esther Fischer, Robert Dietrich (Mona), Dennis Dietrich (Linda) and Diane Van Sickle (Herb).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1655 S McKay Ave, Alexandria, MN 56308). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

After discovering that none of her siblings were a match, her adoptive son stepped forward and donated his kidney to save his mother's life in January of that year.
