He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloys Schoen and Susan Schoen (Beckers). He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Murphy; his children, John Schoen (Vanessa) of Lloyd, Susan Kangas (Brian) of Greenfield, Kathryn Wegman of Canandaigua, Paul Schoen (Mary) of Tucson, Thomas Schoen (Lisa) of Birchwood and Matthew Schoen (Laura) of Delano, Minnesota; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Crouse and Kay Tennison. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials preferred to the Knights of Columbus at the Church of St. Mary's in Alexandria, MN or the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Anthony of Padua in Wickenburg, AZ.
