She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ritten and Rose Ritten (Zwack); her husband Richard Sr. Bitzan; her daughter Karen Bitzan; and her siblings, Clarence Ritten, Arnold Ritten, Lorraine Thoennes and Darlene Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, David Bitzan (Florence), Richard Jr. Bitzan (Jean), John Bitzan (Kathy), Francis Bitzan (Marlene), LeRoy Bitzan (Melissa), Kathleen Revering (Leon), Marian Dorn (James), Donna Dorn (Arthur) and Sharon Thoennes (Mark); and her brother-in-law Marvin Wagner (Darlene). She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 82 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:18 AM at the Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church (16921 County Rd 7 NW, Brandon, MN 56315). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
