She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Mattson and Amanda Mattson (Weossner). She is survived by: her husband Frank Peterson; her children, Gwen Marshall (Gary) of Hawley, Lee Peterson (Darlene) of Orono, Lane Peterson of New Richmond and Kim Borgstahl (Scott) of Alexandria; and her sister Vivian Mattson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
