He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie and Marcie. He is survived by: his children, Christina Akolly (Emmanuel), Cheryl Maboudou-Tchao (Edgard) and Chad Bernstetter (Bobbie); his grandchildren, Lydia Akolly, Alexander Akolly, Claire Akolly, Dodji Maboudou-Tchao, Arianna Maboudou-Tchao, Teagan Bernstetter and Carter Bernstetter; and his siblings, Dennis (Lynn), Joseph Bernstetter (Christine) and Mary Beth Brockpahler (Janice Heltemes). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary memorials for funeral expenses.
