She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Houge and Marian Houge (Ochs); her parents-in-law, Kermit and Marie Gilbertson; and her sister-in-law Linda Nelsen.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Gilbertson; her children, Matthew Gilbertson (Kari), Stacy Faith (Jason) and Michael Gilbertson (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Brayden, Landon, Fletcher, Graham, Hannah, Beau, Hunter and Liam; her siblings, Jerry Houge (Becky), Jacque Bogue (Robert) and Diane Sterner (Stafford); and her siblings-in-law, Terry Gilbertson (Carolyn), Tom Nelsen, Sue Barber (Bill) and Lanae Thorstad (Larry). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Knute Nelson Foundation.
