He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Midtvedt and Dolores Midtvedt (Gephart); his grandparents, Leonard Gephart (Josephine) and Olaf Midtvedt (Esther); his brothers, Harold, Raymond and David; his siblings-in-law, David Gleeson, Karen Midtvedt and Rosie Midtvedt; and his daughter-in-law Susan Midtvedt.
He is survived by: his uncles, Lenny Gephart Jr., Joe Lauer and Ron Zeman (Detroit Lakes); his wife Kathleen McLinn (Kay); his children, Tom (Mary) of New Prague, Mary (Mike Berger) and Pam Lezer (Todd) of Sauk Centre; his stepson Randy Olson (Lacey) of Yucaipa; his grandchildren, Wyatt, Grace, Sophia, Elizabeth Midtvedt, Noah, Olivia Lezer, Zach (Lauren) and Lauren Olson; his brother Dennis (Lois); and his siblings-in-law, Larry Gleeson (Dallas) and Sharon Gleeson (Dallas).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home (659 Voyager Dr, Alexandria, MN 56308). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Congregational Church (221 7th Ave W, Alexandria, MN 56308).
