He is survived by: his son Jon (Robin); his grandchildren, Katelin and Mary; his son Nathan (Anna); his grandchildren, Meghan, Benjamin, Madison and Ella; and his brothers, Ralph Gaffaney (Carol) and Bill Jacobs (Janine). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
