He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boelsen and Edna Boelsen (Rainmuth); and his sister Vivian. He is survived by: his wife Barb (Appleton); his children, Jeff Boelsen (Karen), Julie Brehaut and Jason Boelsen; and his grandchildren, Kirsten Robuck (Jake), Caitlin Leschak (Max), Tyler Wiegert (Rachel), Austin Wiegert (Jordan), Lucas Boelsen (Davy Im), Coral Zitek (Dylan Fielder), Dusten Zitek and Anthony Brehaut. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
