He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schwendemann and Gladys Schwendemann (Cramlett); his daughter Patricia Patri; his grandson Emiliano Godinez; his siblings, LaVern Schwendemann and Florence Roush; and his brothers-in-law, Francis Jergenson and Ruben VanLuik.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara and Susan; his wife Verla Lemke; his son-in-law James Patri Alexandria; his grandchildren, Kern Kuhlman and Kimberly Kuhlman; and his siblings, Hazel Jergenson, BettyAnn VanLuik and Leo Schwendemann (Ione).
