It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Smith of Alexandria, Minnesota, born in Brainerd, Minnesota, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William L. L. and Gladys Smith (Bedow); his half-sister Gloria Norton (John); and his siblings, Ray Smith, Mary T. Smith, Gladys Petersen (Richard), Rose Cuzick (Roland) and Edna Bailey (Walter).
He is survived by : his wife Mary; his children, David Smith (Chrissie) and Kim Smith (Ed Springman); and his grandchildren, Alecia Miller (Jeff), Ashley White (CJ), Madalyn Smith, Justin Smith, six great-grandchildren and 'bonus grandkids" Alex, Mackenzie and Jacob Springman. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews and in-laws.
