She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Poepping and Zitta Poepping; and her son Jason. She is survived by: her husband Tom H. Illies; her daughters, Melissa Sibell (Andrew Okolo) and Heather Boe (Chad); and her siblings, Wilbert Poepping and Carol Deters.
