He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Nelson and Beverly Nelson (Milliren); and his parents-in-law, Verona and James "Mugger" Ordner. He is survived by: his wife Pat Nelson of Andover; his sons, Kevin Nelson (Tammy) of Woodbury, Scott Nelson (Cris) of Andover and Tracy Nelson of Andover; his grandchildren, Tiffany (Joel), Jake (Sarah), Sam (Blake), Taylor (Caleb), Hunter and Jack; his great grandchildren, Ben, Emma, Ellie, Evie, Brayton, Saigelynn, Decker and Madden; and his siblings, Jerry Nelson (Alice) of Rogers, Beverly Weber (Tom) of Rockford, Denny Nelson (Kathy) of Wisconsin, Nancy Nelson of Monticello, Rich Nelson (Wanda) of Scandia, Val Keller (Tom) of Maple Grove, Dick Ordner (Bonnie) of Rush City, Joe Ordner (Mary) of Rush City and Bo Ordner of Columbus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
