He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Magnuson (Hanson) and John Magnuson; his wife Joan Harriet Winter; and his brothers, Malcolm (Eleanor), John (Nell) and Glen (Vyrlee).

He is survived by: Carmen Kastner.
