He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly "Bev" Fleischer; his daughter Carolyn; his sisters, Helen Semisch and Margaret Fleischer; and his parents, Frederick Fleischer and Leona Fleischer (Schmidt).
He is survived by: his children, Ann Fleischer of Mounds View, Barb Fleischer of Andover, Jim Fleischer (Dorrie) of Mounds View and Jon Fleischer (Joanie) of Blaine; and his grandchildren, Catie of Rachel, JJ and Cari Fleischer.
