She was predeceased by : her parents, Melville and Frances; her husband Daniel; her sons, Lawrence and Daniel; and her siblings, Alan, Vernon, Jessie, Lorna, Melford, Fran, Eddie, Grace, Helen, Dean, Bobby and Clyde.

She is survived by : her children, Nina Meyer (Steve), Diana Severson (Doug), Mike (Malaika), Pat (Barb) and Dawn (George); her grandchildren, Michael, Brian, Marc, Chris, Eddie, Deena, Ashley, Sarah, Joe, Shannon, Denise, Josh, Dustin, Shawn, Ashton, Jamie, Katy, Diana, Kelly, Jennifer, Patrick and Joey; and her sister Jennie Royce (Jim). She is also survived by 32 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers or memorials, donations are preferred in Joyce's name to the American Cancer Society.
