He was predeceased by: his parents, Berchie Layne and Sandra Lou Vanantwerp (Ritchie); his son Connor Layne; and his nieces, Brandy, Krystal Blade and Chelsea Zinda.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Layne (Boeson); his children, Nathaniel Pettit (Dana), Kevin Kraus and Autumn Layne; his grandchildren, Jacob, Reylan, Huxley Pettit and Houston Wallis; his sister Tina Watson (Bruce); and his nephew Shane Zinda. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
