She was predeceased by : her nephew Raymond Gee (Ruth); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justina, Dillen and Austin. She is survived by : her husband Don Plackner of River Falls, WI; her children, Brent Plackner (Lisa) of River Falls, WI, Andrea Pahan (Dale) of Andover, MN, Kimberly Klassen (Chad) of Jackson, MN and Blair Plackner (Amy) of Pine Island, MN.; her grandchildren, Bailey, Reid, Jared Plackner, Lauren, Nathan Pahan, Erin, Crosby Klassen, Noah, Drew and Maren Plackner; and her sisters, Judith Stogdell of Lincoln, Janet Johnson of Richmond Hill and Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ruth worked all shifts, in all areas and became an American Heart Association CPR Instructor Trainer, teaching CPR to hospital employees as well as community groups.
