She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Austad; her son-in-law Tom Kastl; and her parents, Rev. P. C. Sorenson and Lillian Sorenson. She is survived by: her children, Lillian V. Sorenson (Hansen), Mark Bernhardson (Deb) of Cloquet, MN and Linda LaMie (Ron); her stepdaughter Dawn Benke (Jeff) of Middle River, MN.; and her sister Esther Dahlgren (Al). She is also survived by nephew, nieces, and many cousins.
