Bruce Robert Gertgen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bruce Robert Gertgen of Annandale, Minnesota, who passed away on February 16, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Bruce farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bruce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gertgen and Rubina Gertgen (Hanson); and his children, Steven and Christin. He is survived by: his wife Carole Tieva of Annandale; his grandson Alec Royal (Skye) of St. Augusta; and his brothers, LeRoy (Marie) of Nowthen and Larry (Lynn) of Prior Lake. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Greater Lake Sylvia Association or the donor's choice.
