He is survived by: his wife Rita Rae Smed; his children, Kirsten of Naperville, IL, Jason (Tina) of Ponte Vedra, FL and Garrett (Lori) of Walnut Creek, CA; his grandchildren, Ashley, Riley, Jake, Perry, Walker and Anders; and his siblings, Patti Ephraim, Judien Cooper (Jim), Garwin Larson and Harriet Miller. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
