He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Driste and Irene Driste (Lorsung); his wife Marilynn J. Koeneke; and his siblings, Gerald, James Driste, Maxine Wilken and Marijo Renstrom.
He is survived by: his children, Carolynn Johnson (Dan) of Andover, Susan Traeger (Ron) of Maple Grove, John Driste (Jeanine) of South Haven and Dave Driste (Beth) of Sartell; and his sisters-in-law, Pat and Judy Driste. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Cure SMA.
