He was predeceased by: his parents, Erick Erickson and Sophie Erickson (Lagerquist); his former wife Sandra Ponto; and his siblings, Everett, Margaret, Kenny and Arnie.

He is survived by: his wife Delaine Strong Erickson of Ortonville; his sons, Bob (Sindee) of Kimball, Rick (Debbie) of Vadnais Heights and Dennis (Becky) of Wyoming, MN; his stepsons, Mark Strong (Amy) of Shoreview, Paul Strong (Ruth) of Ortonville, Robert Strong (Theresa) of Peoria, IL and John Strong (Kristy) of Paynesville; and his brother-in-law Steve Ponto. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
