She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Nelson and Anna Nelson (Hurula); and her siblings, Mabel (Verlund Compton), Alice (Jacob Hoikka), Dorothy (Martin Lampi), Glen Tyni, Ralph (Harriet Nelson), Harry (Ruth Nelson), Carl (Marilyn Nelson) and Donald (Bertha Nelson).
She is survived by : her sister Shirley Tyni. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
