Thomas Schmidt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Schmidt of Annandale, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 17, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Schmidt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrel Schmidt and Elizabeth Schmidt (DeChaney); his stepmother Luverne; and his brother Rollie. He is survived by: his fiancée Maggie Bania of Otsego; his children, April Schmidt (Mark McKee) of Forest Lake, Tony Schmidt of Watkins, Abby Zenzen (Daryl) of Sauk Centre and Kelly Kneeland of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Amelia, Matthew, Isaac Zenzen, Ari, Kai and Annamae Goodermont; his sisters, Natalie Johnson (Charles) of Kimball and Julianne Shirley of Bastrop, TX; his sister-in-law Jeanne Schmidt of Annandale; and his pets, Charlotte and Poppy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kimball United Methodist (141 Hwy 55, Kimball, MN 55353). A prayer will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kimball United Methodist Church (141 Hwy 55, Kimball, MN 55353).
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or Holy Family School in Sauk Centre.
