He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Helms and Anna Helms (Mueller); and his sister Carol Grimm. He is survived by: his girlfriend Tammy Runnion of Annandale; his children, Jessica Vogt (John), Anna Helms and Aaron Helms; his siblings, Mary Helms (Ken Olson), Lisa Jorgenson (Matt), Tom Helms (Karen) and Susie Helms; and his brother-in-law Roger Grimm. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
