He was predeceased by : his mother Carmen Pettis (Thomale); and his grandparents, Darlene, Walter Pettis, Oscar and Lorette Thomale.
He is survived by : his father Darwin Pettis of Annandale; his sister Tammy Benson (Matt) of Monticello; his niece Myra Benson; and his nephew Vincent Benson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
