It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Eugene Tomes of Annandale, Minnesota, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on April 18, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Tomes and Judith Tomes (Jacobs); and his former life partner Karen Triplett. He is survived by : his wife Lisa Van Lith of Annandale; his children, Tina Novacek (Pat) of South Haven, Brian Tomes (Brittany) of Annandale and Mike Tomes of Kimball; his grandchildren, Melanie, Lydia, Gabe, Tosh and Van; his stepson Justin Worden (Samantha Hinkemeyer) of Clearwater; his siblings, Ralph (Becky Potter) of Maple Lake, Jim of Bloomer, WI, Karen Wiggins of St. Paul and Leslie of Pueblo, CO; and his stepmother Kathy Tomes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel (305 Park St E, Annandale, MN 55302). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
