He is survived by: his children, Jeff Nelson (Susie) of Wabasha, Jackie O'Brien (Dave) of Annandale, Chris Klingensmith of St. Francis and Eva Hill (Pat) of Annandale; his grandchildren, Emily, Ben, Kayleigh, Brianna, Elizabeth, Bella, William of Lauren, MJ and Jackson; his great grandchild Lua; his niece Lori Andersen; his nephews, Steve and Brian Jacobson; and his brother-in-law John Jacobson. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
