Alois Mahowald Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Alois Mahowald of Anoka, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ramona; his siblings, Rosina, Richard, Wilfred, Marvin, Izzy, Joan, MaryAnn and Donald; and his parents, Isidor and Estella.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Mahowald (Lynn), Laurie Henke (Rob Brace), Scott Mahowald (Kari), Kevin Mahowald (Julie), Dan Mahowald (Angie) and Chris Mahowald (Deb); his grandchildren, Ryan, Meagan Mahowald (Chris Beimert), Angie Passehl (Clayton), Tony (Alicia), Andy Henke, Eric Mahowald, Amanda Canfield (Mike), Lyndi Coborn (Aaron), Mackenzie, Rayna Mahowald and Andrew Rothstein (Rachel); his siblings, Joe Mahowald (Rosie), Delores Reed and Shirley Geiger; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Mahowald, Marlene Mahowald, Bobbi Mahowald and Frank Glynn. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends.
