He is survived by: his children, Jeri Birdsall (Jim), Mark Swanson (Margaret), Cheri Tidrick (John), Lynn Mackowick (Mark), Brian Swanson (Ruth), Greg Swanson (Glenda) and Barbara Abdoo (Joe); his grandchildren, Rebecca Schmitz (Jeff), Christina Mach (Dan), Benjamin Auch, Alicia Auch, Evan Swanson, Shane Swanson, Elisabeth Abdoo, Jonathan Abdoo, Daisy Swanson, Mia Swanson and Matthew Swanson; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Carter Schmitz, Kyle, Justin and Sydney Mach.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Catholic Church (525 Jackson St, Anoka, MN 55303). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
