It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Lee Eftefield of Anoka, Minnesota, born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Duane Eftefield; her daughter Vicki Jo Sanford-Key; her grandsons, Griffin and Jonah Sanford; her stepdaughter Charlene; and her parents, Norman Courneya and Alice Courneya (Rasmussen).

She is survived by : her children, Kathryn Holmes (Jon), Thomas Sanford (Cindy), Daniel Sanford (Marilyn), Michael Sanford, David Sanford (Jennifer) and Steven Sanford; and her stepdaughters, Debra, Becky and Jennifer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Lutheran Church (1103 School St NW, Elk River, MN 55330). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
