We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2022, at the age of 83, Carol R. Gatzke of Apple Valley, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, G. Wallace Smith and Edna Smith; her husband Eugene "Gene" Gatzke; her sons, Michael (Brigette) and Randal (Karen); her sister Zona Markiewicz; and her sister-in-law Muriel Sampson. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials preferred to St. James Lutheran Church.
