With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Edward Marx (Apple Valley, Minnesota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James Edward left this world on December 7, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marx and Isabel Marx (Higgins); and his siblings, Phyllis Lutz (Ray) and Jack (Arleta). He is survived by: his wife Terry; his daughters, Terri Carroll (Mike), Lisa Willaert (Mike) and Michelle Kiner (Bob); and his grandchildren, Matt Carroll, Michael Carroll (Stephanie), Lindsey Burgstahler (Brett), Megan Martin (Paul), Joe Kiner, Rachel Kiner and Alexis Kiner. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel–anderson Chapel (14850 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Saint Croix Hospice or Saint Maron's Catholic Church in Minneapolis.
