With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffery Alan Clarkin of Apple Valley, Minnesota, born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2024 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ronald Clarkin and Patricia Clarkin (Jurjens); his father-in-law Gene; his brother Michael; and his nephews, Christopher and Jonathan.

He is survived by : his wife Jayne; his sons, Steven (Courtney) and Jason (Jackie); his grandchildren, Ella, Jordan and McKenzie; his siblings, Theresa, Matthew, Robert, Sara (Brian) and Sandra (Joe); his mother-in-law Joanne; and his sisters-in-law, Juile (Dwight) and Joyce. He is also survived by many friends, relatives.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124). Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Helena Catholic Church (3204 E 43rd St, Minneapolis, MN 55406). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Also, any monetary donations made to the family will be used to place a "Legacy Brick" outside of US Bank Stadium to honor Jeff and his love for the Vikings.
