She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Mecay and Norma Mecay; her son Mike; her siblings, Caryn Mecay and Steve Mecay; her sister-in-law Judy Mecay; her grandson Matthew Dougherty; her uncles, Harvey and Bob Carling; and her aunt Harriet Wick.
She is survived by: her husband Craig; her daughter Tricia Dougherty; her sisters, Marleen Mecay and Kathy Lester (Gene); her grandchildren, Kristina (Zac Condon), Adam Dougherty (Jasmine), Lindsay Dougherty and Vanessa Dougherty; her siblings' children, Melissa Lester and Darin Lester; her great-niece Olivia; and her great grandchildren, Brielle and Julien.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
