He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Chell and Doris Bergman Chell; and his sister Betty Heinen. He is survived by: his wife Beth; his children, Carly and Cody of Apple Valley; and his siblings, Orlyn Chell (Patti), Diane Tverberg (Willie) and Dorene Thomas (Ken).

Memorials will be donated to Living Word Christian Church for missions and global church planting.
