He was predeceased by: his parents, Siguard Grothe and Olga Grothe. He is survived by: his brother Gaylord; his wife Margaret Troland; his children, Paul (Teri) and Lynn Olson (Ray); his grandchildren, Alyssa McDermott (Nick), Luke, Logan, Andrea, Jenna and Ray; and his great grandchildren, Raena and Brooks McDermott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Family Church (12156 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville, MN 55337). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
