Roy L. Nielsen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy L. Nielsen of Apple Valley, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal and Alice; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Christy; his daughters, Shana Barton-Nielsen and Leslie Palmer (David); his grandchildren, Zach Nielsen, Alex Barton, Anna Barton, Hailey Palmer, Morgan Palmer and Brynn Palmer; and his sisters, Jackie Bakken (Douglas) and Deb Belquist (Bob). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to charitable organizations dedicated to supporting public safety.and to the Tunnels to Tower link on the obituary post.
