She is survived by: her children, Desiree Westphal, Joe Westphal (Katie) and Holly Schneider (Luke); her grandchildren, Jaylee, Brooklyn, Skyler Westphal, Christian Graske, Laurin Otten (Mike), Jarrod Schneider (Caitlyn), Hannah Wanta (Theran), Zachary Schneider and Sommer Schneider; her great grandchildren, Freya and Estella Kirmse; and her siblings, Spencer Hawley (Barb), Annie Borns (Terry) of South Dakota and Greg Hawley (Jackie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Formerly Corky (dog); Punky (cat), and her current and cherished cat Gustopher "Gus."In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to MICC or The Foundry church, organizations that reflect Sue's enduring commitment to faith and community.
