She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernt Eliason and Petra Eliason (Torgelson); her husbands, Elmer Ostby and BoDo Steinke; her children, Timothy Ostby and Sharon Munsterman; her great grandchild Elizabeth Norman; her son-in-law Richard Boelsen; her in-laws, Fred and Martha Ostby (Berven); her siblings, Lowell Eliason (Hilda), Ray Eliason (Kathy), Gordon Eliason, Elmer Eliason, Eudell Anderson (Ernest), Verna Olson (Melvin), Marilyn Thompson (Tony) and Erma Catlin (Lorne); and her siblings-in-law, Arthur Ostby and Adeline Olson (Florien).
She is survived by: her children, Eldon Ostby (Patty) of Montevideo, MN, Barbara Boelsen of Alexandria, MN, Curtis Ostby of Appleton, MN, JoAnn Lindstrom (Jerry) of Brooten, MN and Jerry Ostby of Appleton, MN; and her sister-in-law Betty Eliason. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 35 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church-Appleton (23 E Rooney Ave, Appleton, MN 56208). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
