He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wichmann and Marilyn Wichmann (Mickelson); and his nephew Michael Paul Wichmann. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Rapacz; his children, Paul Wichmann (Danette) and Marie Sund (Dean); his grandchildren, Lilie Sund, Parker Sund, James McCann, Violet Sund, Iris Sund and Julia Wichmann; his stepchildren, Shawn Anderson (Tina) and Dana Woinarowicz; his stepgrandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Trevor Anderson, Raydon Woinarowicz, Ayla Woinarowicz and Ty Woinarowicz; and his brothers, Steve Wichmann (Tanis) and Tom Wichmann.

He was active in Mabel's Mexican Children's Refuge and the Global Outreach Foundation.
